Dr. Setser has resigned from FBAMC and Point of Hope

Dr. Donald Setser has resigned effective 1/20/14 at 8:00 p.m. He presented his letter of resignation to Mrs. Ruslyn Case-Compton of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington. Dr. Setser disagrees with the current leadership of FBAMC. Please keep Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center and the Point of Hope Community in your prayers. Pray that Fr. Beiting's legacy will continue with proper leadership. Dr. Setser feels the current administration has strayed away from Fr. Beiting's legacy of empowering the impoverished throughout Appalachia. Dr. Setser will serve as Christian Education Consultant and Life Coach/Pastoral Counselor for those with educational disabilities and those suffering with substance abuse addictions.
