Mission Statement

The Point of Hope Community is a substance abuse recovery program of Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center and an outreach ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY. Point of Hope is a Licensed Alcohol and Other Drug Entity (A.O.D.E.) Outpatient Treatment Center # 810378 with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Human Services. The Point of Hope Community and Guardian Angels Emergency Housing Facility is under the direction of Dr. Donald R. Setser, Ph.D.

Accepting Applications for Substance Abuse Recovery Program

Point of Hope Community is currently accepting applications for a 3 bedroom mobile home and a 2 bedroom duplex. Point of Hope is a transitional housing community for those recovering from substance abuse. Successful applicants must be a graduate of an accredited/certified substance abuse treatment program. Once accepted into our program residents will attend daily NA and AA groups on campus and will attend weekly Christian Counseling sessions. Resident will work with Director/Counselor to establish individual recovery plan and individual educational plan. Saturday - NA: 12 noon & AA 7:00 p.m.
Sunday - NA: 7:00 p.m.

Point of Hope resident meeting for July

Point of Hope advisory and review commitee will be meeting will all residents on Thursday July 12 at 8:30 a.m. in the small conference room at PoH Community Center. This is a required meeting!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School for Martin County students will be held at Roy F. Collier Community Center in Inez beginning on Monday July 9 through Friday July 13. We would like to thank our dedicated volunteers from New York for hosting Father Beiting's Vacation Bible School this year.

Summer Camp 2012

"Something Beautiful for God" - A Girls Camp - Monday June 18 through Friday June 22.

"Camp Crusader" - A Boys Camp - Monday June 25 through Friday June 29.

Come grow closer to God through 4 nights and 3 days of fantastic fun!!

Camp will take place at Padre's Place near Yatesville Lake.
