Mission Statement

The Point of Hope Community is a substance abuse recovery program of Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center and an outreach ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY. Point of Hope is a Licensed Alcohol and Other Drug Entity (A.O.D.E.) Outpatient Treatment Center # 810378 with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Human Services. The Point of Hope Community and Guardian Angels Emergency Housing Facility is under the direction of Dr. Donald R. Setser, Ph.D.

Accepting applications for transitional housing & substance abuse recovery program

Point of Hope is currently accepting applications for its' transitional housing and substance abuse recovery program. Successful applicants must be a graduate of an accredited/certified substance abuse treatment program. Mr. Setser holds a Masters of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary and is a licensed clinical pastoral counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association and a board certified pastoral counselor with the Board of Christian Professional & Pastoral Counselors.

We're accepting applications for: 

Holy Angels unit (3bedrooms)
St. Michael unit (3 bedrooms)
St. Anthony unit (2 bedrooms)
